iRest ® and Body Sensing Movement
Tuesdays 10:30-11:30 am
May 10 – June 28, $95
The Sanskrit translation for Body Sensing Movement is: “trika†which means source or true nature. Body Sensing Movement is a practice of meditative Hatha Yoga derived from the tantric teachings of Kashmir non-dualism. The practice is designed to reveal your body as radiant and spacious vibration, which directly reveals your true nature as unconditioned Essence. Using gentle traditional Yoga postures, breathing practices, and dynamic and static postural flows, Jeanne will introduce you to this exquisite and rarely taught meditative approach to sensing the body’s movements. Body Sensing Movement teaches you to let go of memory, experience the body moving as you have never experienced it before, and rediscover the continuum in which all movements are always happening. Each class will build on the teachings given in the prior weeks and consist of dialogue, guided postural flows integrated with breath, movement, pranayama (breathing techniques), and iRest Yoga Nidra meditation. No experience required. Register online or call (208) 345-7113. |
